shipping questions
Q. How much is shipping?
A. Normal "UPS Ground" Shipping is $12.95 or $19.50 (for an Executive). Since our breads are securely packed in large and rather heavy containers, "Next day Air", "Second Day Air" and "Three Day Select" range in price from $25.50 to over $100.00. The charge for all "AIR" shipping is quoted on an individual basis. About 97% of our shipping is "UPS Ground."

Q. When will my order ship?
A. We ship most of our orders on Tuesdays and Wednesdays so that we can send them "UPS Ground" and avoid the high cost of "AIR" shipments. If your order is placed later in the week, it will most likely be shipped the following Tuesday. Some shipments (for example the West Coast) must go "AIR" to ensure that they arrive fresh and within three calendar days.

Q. When will my gift arrive?
A. The UPS web site provides a "Time-IN-Transit Chart at: https://wwwapps.ups.com/ctc/request?loc=en_US&WT.svl=SubNav This web site provides for an estimated time in transit from our shipping zip code of 37377 here on Signal Mountain. Or you can view the UPS Shipping Map. We do not schedule shipments with a time-in-transit that exceeds three business days and we do not ship over the weekend.

Q. Why my actual is charge different than what was on my Order Confirmation?
A. Some complicated orders (non-standard baskets and individual products) are subject to handling charges for additional packing materials and time.

Q. Can I send multiple baskets without having to reenter my credit card #?
A. Yes, we have now added the ability to send gifts to multiple addresses.

Q. How do I know my breads will arrive fresh?
A. We have tested our shipping process thoroughly and feel that the three-day shipping limitation ensures fresh products when they arrive. In any case, all of our products are guaranteed to be fresh. All shipments include handling and freezing instructions.

Q. Will I get a tracking number when my order ships?
A. If you have given us a correct and current E-Mail address our system will generate a UPS tracking number that will allow you to follow the progress of your shipment. Please keep in mind that many E-Mail providers routinely block E-Mails that they view as spam.

Q. Can I select my ship date?
A. Generally we ship out on the next available "UPS Ground" shipping date. During holiday periods we attempt to schedule your gift so that it arrives just before the appropriate holiday. If you requirements are different, please call the shop during normal business hours so we can meet you needs.

Q. Can I pick up an Internet order at the local store?
A. Our system was designed to support nationwide shipping. For local pick up, it would be best to call your local store.
